In or Out 2010

A MUST watch segment from Glenn Beck.  If you watch only one piece watch the last three minutes or so.  The Citizens of America must stand up for what we believe in and make our government REPRESENT US not their own good.

Politics as Usual?

Massachusetts Democrats are playing politics again as usual. With the death to Ted Kennedy, Democrats in Massachusetts as trying to change the law THEY passed only five years ago to prevent Mitt Romney from ever appointing a Senate seat if one became vacant.  Now that they have a Democratic Governor and are wanting to pass health care, they don't think they need to stick with the law they passed.  Typical Democrats! Just like the taxes they want us to pay but some many of them don't pay.

At the time, Democratic Sen. John Kerry was running for president and Massachusetts had a Republican governor, Mitt Romney. Proponents of changing the law argued that a gubernatorial appointment was undemocratic and that only voters should decide on a replacement. Democrats also feared Mr. Romney would appoint a Republican.

The Health Care Ad ABC & NBC Won't Show You

Here is the current ad that speaks out against Obama's health care that NBC and ABC are refusing to air. Did you have any doubts left that ABC & especially NBC were in the tank for the Obama White House?

A Storm is Brewing

Storming weather often reminds me of the power the Almighty possess. This video puts me in awe of His power.

Howard Dean in a Moment of Honesty

It's not too often that I agree with Howard Dean. However, at a recent town hall he told the crowd why tort reform was not a part of the current health care bill. His response, they did not had to choose their battles and did not want to fight the lawyers. Listen for yourself.

A Democratic Blame Game?

Yet another example of Democrats blaming Republicans when people on the left are the real culprit.

An Unconstitutional Health Care Bill?

Is the current health care plans being proposed Constitutional? David B. Rivkin Jr. and Lee A. Casey have produced a very interesting article in the Washington Times that says no. Here are a few of the more interesting quotes:

In short, no. The Constitution assigns only limited, enumerated powers to Congress and none, including the power to regulate interstate commerce or to impose taxes, would support a federal mandate requiring anyone who is otherwise without health insurance to buy it.
Therefore, as it currently stands, congress cannot force American citizens to purchase medical insurance, at least not if they want to uphold the constitution.  So, what does that mean about funding the health care bill?

Of course, these constitutional impediments can be avoided if Congress is willing to raise corporate and/or income taxes enough to fund fully a new national health system. Absent this politically dangerous -- and therefore unlikely -- scenario, advocates of universal health coverage must accept that Congress's power, like that of the other branches, has limits.
Would congress and Obama be willing to take the political heat by raising taxes?  Unlikely, but would the sacrifice of a future election be worth passing their holy grail of policy issues?

Is Affordable and Available Health Care Possible?

Is real, genuine, and affordable health care reform possible? With common sense and the American citizens will it is. Today, during his town hall, John McCain outlined what many other conservatives have proposed to fix our "health care problem" in this country. These include:

  1. Insurance reform to get those with preexisting conditions
  2. Reform Medical malpractice
  3. Tax reforms and incentives to purchase insurance.
    1. To me, this is the best and most important change we could make.  Included in this would be the ability for customers to purchase health insurance over state lines just like we do with car and home owners insurance.  This one thing alone would drive down cost because of the increased competition.
  4. Wellness and safety (uses Safeway as an example)/reward people for good practice
    1. This idea has possibilities.   If the "rewards" are in the form of tax breaks I would accept it.  Another possibility for this could be the development of a system similar to how car insurance companies give good driver discounts to drivers to have avoided accidents and/or tickets.  This would be the best option in my opinion.  However, the next issue would be how is this measred?
Overall, these four reforms would save Americans thousands of dollars and create a even better health care system than we have.  Take a look at the full seven minute video from John McCain's town hall.

Obama's House of Csars

7 Trillion...Better Make That 9 TRILLION DOLLAR Deficit

With the ever growing deficit, how can American's trust our government will ever pay off all of this debt. Just today, the White House quietly released today that the Presidents predicted 7 trillion dollar deficit is now predicted to be 9 trillion dollars over the next ten years. That means over the next ten years our government will be placing 30,000 dollars worth of debt into the pockets each of the 300,000,000 citizens. That is not a total, that is on top of the thousands each American already is on the hook for. Please, lets get some fiscal sanity back into our government.

Gallup Poll: Obama's Approval Hits All Time Low

Week after week, we continually see the Presidents job approval slip. While this Gallup poll still has Obama's approval rating over 50% unlike other polls, it is interesting to see the trend over the past two months. This week Obama his his all time low in the Gallup poll at 52%. Not only are his approval ratings dropping, his disapproval mark is heading up too. How long will this trend continue? Obama cannot afford to drop much below 50% this early in his Presidency or he will turn into a lame duck President. If he does not adjust his socialist views and govern more like the "moderate" candidate he tried to portray himself as during the election, he will never gain the trust of the American public.

Obama, Abortion, & Health Care

Thanks to Allah at Hot Air for this video of Obama talking to Plan Parenthood. Also keep in mind Obama said prior to running for office and during his campaign that one of his first priorities would be to pass the "Freedom of Choice Act." This is something all pro-life Americans need to keep a very close eye on as different health care bills are drafted over the next few months. Many Democrats will try to put in coverage for abortions, which would mean that all Americans would be forced to pay for "government funded" murder. Also, if either of these were to become law, would would happen to our private Christian/Catholic hospitles. They would now be forced to perform abortions against their will or close up shop.

Lou Dobbs asks "Where are the Jobs?"

Obama's Approval 45%

Eight months ago, America was captivated by this guy called Obama. Americans overwhelming supported him while turning a blind eye to his policy positions and what he actually said throughout his campaign. Now only eight months later we have a President who is only winning the approval of 45% of American's according to the latest Zogby poll.

American citizens have now come around and are seeing that when Obama talked about "change" he really meant bringing about a new socialist America. Every policy Obama and the Democrats in congress have tried to push through this year have been socialist in nature. To start Merrian-Webster defines socialism as "any of various economic and political theories advocating collective or governmental ownership and administration of the means of production and distribution of goods."

Lets look at the two big pocilies Obama has tried to get passed, first Cap-and-Trade. Under Cap-and-Trade, the government would set limits on the amount of emissions a bussiness would be allowed to emit. If the company went beyond their limit they would have to pay another person for their "share" of emissions. This is an example of government administering the distribution of wealth as large companies would be forced to pay others for a larger emission amount. Obama however forgets to tell the American people that these companies WILL pass on the price to their consumers.

Obama's second big policy is health care. Under Obama's plan, the government again would administer the distribution of health care by forcing those "rich" pay for the uninsured. We have all seen how well this has gone over with the American public.

If Obama keeps up with his current push towards socialism his approval ratings will drop as low as that of Cogress.

Advertisers vs Glenn Beck

Advertisers are pulling the plug and are no longer advertising during Glenn Beck's show on Fox.

"The moves come after the Fox News host called President Obama a “racist” who “has a deep-seated hatred for white people” during an appearance on Fox & Friends."

How long will this boycott last as Beck is one of the highest rated programs on Fox. I also can't help but notice the double standard. We see all the time people on CNN and MSNBC calling ordinary citizens racist who happen to disagree with the President's socialist policies.

The March on Washington

Will you be at the 912 March on Washington. I would love to be there but I am unable to make the the cross country trip. This will be a great opportunity more the American citizens to voice their displeasure with the way government in running our country.

“Obama’s Mother of All Political Lies.”

I'm finally back from vacation and wow how things have intensified in the health care debate in the two weeks I was gone. No plan was passed as we expected prior to the August recess but now the Democrats are running around calling all of us who oppose socialized health care UnAmerican and even Nazis. I believe this is only the beginning of an uprising of American citizens that began with the Tea Party's. American citizens are fed up with politicians thinking they are better than us, that they don't answer to their constituents, and that those who disagree are dumb, racists, UnAmerican, etc.
